Turned wood has a surface quality, grain continuity and weight that manufactured substitutes cannot replicate, and having both elements from the same process gives the assembly its coherence.
Set by removing or adding chain links before installation. Range: 450 to 1530mm. General guide: 60–75cm above a dining table; 70–80cm above a kitchen counter. In open space, ensure at least 1.8 metres clearance from floor to base of shade.
E27 GLS format. The glass is clear so the bulb is visible inside the shade. A warm Edison-style filament GLS at 2700K gives the most atmospheric quality, the filament coil visible as a warm point of light. A cool white LED illuminates efficiently but lacks the warmth this material combination is designed to carry. Bulb not included.
